These pictures were taken on Labor Day weekend. I love your suits and had meaning to take pictures on the beach all summer. We wanted to go to the NJ shore (about 25 minutes from us) for a last visit at the end of the summer, but we received a hurricane, so Saturday was a bust. On Sunday, we took at look at the beaches and they were literally washed away. The normal walk from the boardwalk to the ocean is 50-100 yards, of well groomed sand. But after the storm, the sand had been pulled into the ocean and the swell of the water caused the beach to be about 15 feet from the boardwalk to the water! So there was no where to take pictures. The sand was basically gone, and the water was still in post-hurricane form - the waves were crashing fiercely. Instead we went to a lake, where we enjoy the sunsets. There's no "beach" area, but there are some great boat docks that expand out onto the water quite a ways, so that's where we took the pictures. Thank you for making such great suits! I will be sending in some more photos from the "beach" in Cabo in a couple of weeks. |
