Hello to all of you awesome Malibu Strings fans!
I'm at my home away from home, Siesta Key Florida. I am especially grateful that this beautiful island was spared from Ian. Every Sunday at sunset there is a drum ceremony to thank the Indian Spirits for protecting Siesta Key. Our hearts go out to Ft. Myers, Naples, Sanibel Island, Captiva, and Punts Gorda & all who suffered major devastating surges. For years we have heard stories that Siesta Key has been spared from Hurricanes because it’s on a sacred Indian burial ground. Over a hundred years and counting.
